Restore. Refresh. Renew.
Wellness Injections — Quick wellness. Lasting benefits.
In plain language.
Wellness injections deliver vitamins and nutrients directly into the muscle, bypassing the digestive system so more of the dose is available to your body. Appointments take under fifteen minutes and require no downtime.
At Nō Ka ʻOi Aesthetics in Lahaina we offer hydroxocobalamin (vitamin B12) to support energy, metabolism, brain function and nervous-system health; glutathione, the body's master antioxidant, for detoxification support and skin brightness; NAD+ for cellular energy and mental clarity; and vitamin D3 for immune, bone and mood support.
Every injection is reviewed against your health history and medications first, and administered under the medical direction of Stefanie Roberts, ARNP. If an injection isn't the right tool for what you're describing, we'll tell you.
Small, consistent support.
Wellness injections aren't a cure or a shortcut. They're a simple, efficient way to keep nutrient support consistent — especially during travel-heavy months, high-stress stretches, or a weight-loss plan. We recommend the smallest effective plan, tell you when a lab or a physician visit is the better next step, and never sell a series you don't need.

Small support, given carefully
Wellness injections are quick, but they are never routine. Each one is reviewed against your health history, labs where relevant, and current goals, then given by a licensed nurse under medical direction. We tell you honestly whether an injection will help, how often it makes sense, and we coordinate timing with your IV therapy, weight-loss plan, or travel schedule.
Concerns this addresses.
Low energy and fatigue
Recovery after travel and long flights
B12 deficiency and dietary gaps (vegetarian, vegan, post-bariatric, absorption issues)
Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
Immune support during busy or high-stress stretches
Metabolic support alongside a medical weight-loss plan
Oxidative stress, dull skin tone and uneven pigment
Low vitamin D from limited sun exposure or sun protection
What you'll notice.
An intramuscular injection takes less time than parking — easy to fit between a morning beach walk and lunch.
Delivering nutrients into the muscle bypasses digestion and absorption limits, so more of what you're given reaches your bloodstream than with an oral supplement.
Every injection is screened against your history and medications, then given by a nurse under our ARNP medical director.
Weekly or monthly cadences are simple to maintain, whether you live here or visit a few times a year.
Use injections between drips to hold the benefit without booking a full infusion appointment.
One injection can replace the daily-supplement habit many people start and stop.
What to expect, step by step.
A brief review of your goals, health history, medications and any recent labs.
A quick intramuscular injection in the upper arm or hip — under five minutes.
Return to work, the beach, or your afternoon immediately.
How we use wellness injections.
Every injection is checked against your medications, conditions and labs before anything is given.
If sleep, nutrition, thyroid or anemia is the real issue, we'll say that and point you to the right next step.
Under fifteen minutes, easy to maintain weekly or monthly around work and travel.
We time injections around your IV therapy, weight-loss visits and treatment schedule.

A powerful, long-acting form of vitamin B12 central to cellular energy production, red blood cell formation and nervous-system health. Given intramuscularly, it bypasses the digestive system entirely — useful if you follow a plant-based diet, take acid-reducing medication, have had bariatric surgery, or simply feel persistently tired. Many clients maintain with one injection every two to four weeks.

Known as the body's master antioxidant, glutathione supports detoxification pathways, helps neutralize oxidative stress, and is often chosen for overall wellness and a brighter, more even skin tone. It can be given on its own or added to an IV infusion, and pairs well with sun-heavy weeks in Maui.

NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell and is required for the way your cells make energy. Clients choose NAD+ for mental clarity, focus, and recovery support. We offer 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg doses and typically start conservatively, then adjust based on how you respond.

Vitamin D supports immune function, bone health, muscle strength and mood. Despite living in the sun, many people here are low — daily sun protection, indoor work and individual absorption all play a role. A single injection is a convenient alternative to daily capsules; for many people once a month is an effective maintenance schedule, guided by your levels, health goals and provider recommendation.
A methionine, inositol, choline and B12 blend used to support fat metabolism and energy, most often as part of a medical weight-loss plan rather than on its own.

Questions people ask about Wellness Injections.
The questions we hear most before booking Wellness Injections — answered in full, with links to the treatment details, definitions and guides behind each answer.
- Which treatments have no downtime?
HydraFacial, IV nutrient therapy, wellness injections, spray tan and medical-grade skincare all have no downtime. Dysport has essentially none either — a few tiny marks that settle within an hour — as long as you stay upright and skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day.
Microneedling is the exception. Expect skin to look pink, like a mild sunburn, for one to three days, with sun and ocean water off the table during that window.
- Which treatments are best after a long flight?
IV nutrient therapy is the single best treatment after a long flight, followed by a wellness injection if you want an energy or immune boost in fifteen minutes. Cabin air is extremely dry, and a five-hour-plus flight plus a time-zone change leaves most people dehydrated before their vacation starts.
If travel has also left your skin dull or congested, a HydraFacial the next day restores the glow. Many guests book both — an IV on arrival day, a facial mid-trip.
- Can IV therapy help me feel refreshed after traveling?
Yes — that is our most requested reason for it. IV nutrient therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes and vitamins straight into the bloodstream, bypassing digestion, so rehydration is faster and more complete than drinking water alone.
Most guests notice they feel clearer and less sluggish before the infusion is finished. Plan on 45 to 60 minutes in a quiet treatment room, and no downtime afterward — sightseeing, dinner and beach time are all fine.
- What helps after golf, hiking or a boat day?
IV nutrient therapy is the fastest recovery after a full day outdoors, because sun, wind and exertion dehydrate you more than most people realize on Maui.
A HydraFacial afterward clears the congestion that sunscreen, salt and sweat leave behind. Neither has downtime, so you can do both and still make a dinner reservation.
- What is the difference between a wellness injection and IV therapy?
A wellness injection is a small intramuscular dose — B12, lipotropic or NAD+ — that takes about fifteen minutes. IV nutrient therapy delivers a larger volume of fluids and nutrients into a vein over 45 to 60 minutes.
Choose the injection when you want a quick, targeted boost and have somewhere to be. Choose the IV when you are dehydrated, recovering from travel or a hard day outdoors, or want broader support. Injections start at $39; the two pair well in one visit.
- Who performs treatments at Nō Ka ʻOi Aesthetics?
All injectable and medical treatments are performed by Stefanie Roberts, ARNP, founder and medical director of Nō Ka ʻOi Aesthetics. HydraFacial and skin treatments are performed by our licensed aestheticians, Stephanie Evans and Keala Lono, under the same medical oversight.
This is a medical practice in a boutique setting, not a resort spa menu — one clinician plans your care, and the same team sees you at follow-up.
Good to know.
Which injections do you offer?+
Hydroxocobalamin (vitamin B12), glutathione, NAD+ in 50, 75 and 100 mg doses, vitamin D3, and MICC lipotropic support. We'll recommend the right option after reviewing your goals and history.
Why an injection instead of a supplement?+
Intramuscular injections bypass the digestive system, so absorption isn't limited by gut health, stomach acid or medications. One injection can also replace a daily-pill habit that's easy to abandon.
How often should I come in?+
It depends on the injection and your goals — B12 is commonly every two to four weeks, vitamin D often once a month, NAD+ and glutathione as part of a short series or ongoing maintenance. We'll give you an honest cadence.
Does it hurt, and is there downtime?+
The injection takes seconds. Mild soreness at the site is normal and there's no downtime — you can swim, work out and go about your day right away.
Are they safe?+
Yes. Every injection is reviewed against your medications and medical conditions, and administered by a licensed nurse under ARNP medical direction.
Do I need labs first?+
Not always, but bring recent labs if you have them. If we think a lab or a visit with your physician should come first, we'll tell you.
Can I combine injections with IV therapy or a facial?+
Yes — injections are commonly added to an IV visit, a HydraFacial, or a weight-loss check-in on the same appointment.
Do they replace nutrition?+
No. Injections support a healthy lifestyle, sleep and nutrition — they don't replace them.
